Capacitance Measurement Channels Liquid Measurement Systems' Signal Conditioner comes complete with 8 capacitance measurement channels capable of being individually scaled to accept different fuel probes or point sensors. Each channel is a dedicated full-time electronic circuit that converts a fuel probe's capacitance into an elecrical output. This makes it continuously available for the pilot/astronaut's display. Outputs Each of the 8 channels of the Signal Conditioner has 3 configuration options: 1. -5vdc to +10vdc (fuel probe) 2. Zero to +11 ma.dc (fuel probe) 3. 0/5v discrete (point sensor) Low level Sensor Channels The Signal Conditioner has 2 channels that can be used as point sensor low-level channels with thermistor bead sensors. The outputs can be configured as either 0/5vdc or a switch to ground. 28vdc Aircraft Power Our product operates on 28vdc aircraft power, meeting the performance specifications with input variations of 21vdc to 33vdc per MIL-STD-704. 200 v/m EMI Option The Signal Conditioner can be configured with EMI connectors and an EMI gasket to operate in carrier deck EMI environments of 200 v/m, as specified by MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-462. Smallest Footprint and Lowest Weight in the Industry! We have completely eliminated all internal wiring from our Signal Conditioner, choosing instead to use surface mount components and a mother/daughter board. This results in an enhanced reliability and a considerably lighter weight of just 14.7 ounces. |
