Seven Alphanumeric Fields
Product Overview
The indicator is a single EMI-protected Multiple Tank Display (MTD). This high performance microprocessor-controlled indicator offers a 1.9” x 1.7” viewable area, with both night vision (NVG) and daylight compatibility. The MTD features continuous display of seven fuel quantity readings (six tanks plus total fuel). The legends and displayed values can be modified to suit any application.
The MTD can receive and display data from analog signals or function as a receive-and-display-only device on an ARINC 429 bus. It monitors and displays fuel quantity and fuel system status information transmitted by the Signal Conditioning Unit (SCU). The MTD also monitors its internal operating conditions, and is able to detect error conditions such as loss of data from the SCU.
LED Display
The LED display utilizes four 8-character high intensity LED modules to create a NVG filtered 4 line display. The mechanical enclosure divides the display into as many as seven fields; six 3-digit fields for multiple fuel tanks, and an eight character field for display of total fuel.
Display Control
The MTD firmware-controlled display is designed to allow up to six fuel quantities and the total quantity to be visible simultaneously, with display brightness controlled according to the day/night setting. The total-quantity field is also used to post error messages when fault conditions are detected by or communicated to the MTD.
